If you are in Hoboken, Jersey City or one of the many other hot markets in the US, you may already know that real estate prices have been climbing over the past 3-4 years. The question I’m often asked is if I believe now is a good time to buy residential real estate or should one wait another year or two.
Well according to an article just published by the Mortgage Bankers Association and summarized in this REALTOR.com article 10 Year Housing Surge, the real estate market in the US is poised for one of the largest expansions in history.
Judging from local real estate demand over the last few years coupled with the shortage of inventory plaguing our markets, moving into a great long term property now may be well rewarded over this 10 year time period.
