Earth Day Festival
Come and celebrate the earth at the Largest Earth day event in New Jersey! Hosted at Liberty State Park, you will be able to get in touch with the roots of nature and see the land in its prime and can inspire awareness and appreciation for the earth. Also with over 100 vendors, exhibits, rides and activities in attendance, there is no chance of boredom! Saturday, April 22nd 10:00am – 4:00pm. Liberty State Park, Jersey City.
Holi Hai Festival of Colors
The ancient Indian festival has various significances, the most popular ones being a celebration of the advent of Spring and the victory of good over evil. It’s also a harvest festival in many parts of India. Throwing colors on one another is the most popular tradition that is said to go back all the way to Hindu mythology. There are many stories about the relevance of colors in Holi but all of them point to the celebration of diversity!
